The Farm Bill shapes our nation’s food system, from supporting farmers and ranchers to strengthening food security and rural communities across the country. Here in Hawai‘i, it plays an especially important role in protecting local agriculture, supporting sustainability, and helping us grow more of our own food.
As Congress works on this bill, I want to make sure Hawai‘i is at the table. Please take a few minutes to share your mana‘o—your priorities and your concerns—about the USDA programs and policies that matter most to you, so I can fight for a Farm Bill that works for our farmers, our families, and our local communities.
